The Candy Shop first opened its doors in May 2008. It started out only as a dream and a vision. The founder, Candy Miller-Evans, was inspired to open the salon after realizing that she had a gift that could help change self images, self-esteem, minds, and even lives of women. She also wanted a salon where the stylist really cared and worked for the LOVE of hair. With that being said, Candy, her husand Tyrone, her mother Dee Dee, her brothers Sam Jr and Jason, her dad Sam, and her kids (with the help of God) got together and made The Candy Shop a reality!
